7 Travel Essentials – Beauty Products to Pack

When it comes to travel, deciphering what to pack and what to leave behind can be tough. And when it comes to beauty and skincare products, they’ve got to be carry-on-friendly, multitaskers and efficient!  Read along for the best travel products that will have you spending less time getting ready and more time vacationing!

1. Su:m 37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

One of my favorite products of all time, this cleanser comes in solid form in a twist-up tube complete with petal roses. No more worrying about leaking products during travel. But that’s not the only perk; the ingredient list boast natural ingredients such as marjoram oil and fermented damask rose extract. This gentle formula is free from artificial colors, parabens, and synthetic preservatives, and perfect for all skin types, even sensitive.

2. Etude House Tint My Brows Gel

If you regularly color in your eyebrows then this brow tint is for you! The Etude Brow Gel tints eyebrows for color that lasts up to several days. You need to apply and let it dry for at least 2 hours, though overnight is ideal. After peeling the gel off, the tint fades slowly each day. I love this for low-maintenance beach days! This saves me the trouble of filling in my eyebrows every day.

3. Supergoop! CC Cream Daily Correct Broad Spectrum SPF 35+ Sunscreen

Combining my foundation and sunscreen! This broad spectrum CC Cream offers medium coverage which is usually what I look for during my vacations. My favorite part is that it is a mineral sunscreen so I am getting broad spectrum protection from the sun! Read this post all about sunscreen which talks about SPF, UVA/UVB and the difference between sunblock and sunscreen! I alternate between this one and Colorescience Tint du Soleil UV Protective Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30 which I also love and offers a bit more coverage.

4. Colorescience Sunforgettable Loose Mineral Sunscreen Brush Broad Spectrum SPF 50

This powder sunscreen stays in my purse the entire time I am traveling and I reapply every few hours to protect my face. The convenient, portable brush-application makes it easy to throw in my bag and apply easily for a touch-up anytime.

5. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo Mini

If my beauty routine is minimal during travels, then my hair routine is basically nonexistent. Dry shampoo is my best friend and helps me skip out on more hair washes than I’m used to. Living Proof is my go-to and it comes in a travel size!

6. Kevyn Aucoin The Making Faces Beauty Book

I love having all of my makeup in one easy book. And this make up palette has it all – blush, contour and eyes! If you don’t plan to wear much make up, another great option is the Bobbi Brown Essential 5-in-1 Face Palette which is perfect for subtle touch-ups.

Airplanes, jet lag and indulging in alcoholic beverages can do a number on our skin. Sheet masks are the perfect way to hydrate and nourish your skin at the end of the day. And I try to do a sheet mask each night while I’m traveling. Be sure to choose sheet masks based on the specific needs of your skin.
